Art of Healing Save the Date, 2026

Thank you to all who supported CHA’s 2026 Art of Healing Gala! Together, with a record attendance of 550 supporters, we raised more than $1 million, the most ever for a CHA gala. Your extraordinary generosity, partnership, and belief in CHA’s mission brings health and hope to our patients, and it allows CHA to continue innovating and advancing equity and excellence for everyone, every time.

Thank you! We look forward to seeing you all again in 2027.

Portrait of Judy FaulknerCelebrating our CHA Foundation Art of Healing 2026 Honoree:

Judy Faulkner, Founder and CEO of Epic Systems, Healthcare Philanthropist

Judy Faulkner is CEO and founder of Epic, which she began in 1979 in the basement of an apartment house with $70,000 in start-up money and 2 half-time assistants.  Epic has grown by its bootstraps, without venture capital or going public.

Judy received honorary doctorates from the University of Wisconsin, Rush University, Temple University College of Public Health, Dickinson College, and Mount Sinai, an MS in Computer Science from the UW, and a BS in Mathematics from Dickinson College.   After teaching computer science for several years she then worked as a software developer, creating one of the first databases organized around the patient.

Judy currently is a member of the National Academy of Medicine’s Leadership Roundtable, The Scottsdale Institute, and of the Aspen Health Strategy Group.  She has pledged that 99% of her assets will go to philanthropy.

CHA is deeply honored to recognize and celebrate Judy Faulkner for her remarkable contributions to healthcare technology and her visionary leadership, innovation, and generosity.

For more than 20 years, through both Epic and the Roots & Wings Foundation, Judy has generously supported CHA’s mission of health equity and excellence for everyone every time.

We are pleased to honor Judy and thank her for two decades of support for CHA.
