CHA Foundation Events

  • Golf Invitational

Due to weather and greens condition, the 2023 CHA Invitational was cancelled. Thank you to those who participated in the drawing that replaced the live auction. Foursomes will be allowed to play their round at the Nashawtuc Country Club any point over the next year. Please contact Carly Colombo for more information.

Thank you to the many sponsors and organizers. While we are disappointed we weren't able to enjoy this special annual event together, we are grateful for your continued support and look forward to seeing you next year.

Your support helps fund important and lifesaving programs like free cancer screenings for uninsured women, mental health services for siblings of patients in psychiatric care, care for patients suffering from opioid addiction, food security for patients, and treatment for cancer patients by providing housing, food, transportation, and childcare.

For previously committed sponsors who need to make a payment, please reach out to Development Associate, Carly Colombo.

  • Art of Healing

Thank you to the over 340 people who joined us to celebrate CHA at our 2023 Art of Healing gala, and to all of you who supported the event. It was a spectacular evening! We are especially grateful for the support of our lead sponsor, Cambridge Savings Bank, and the over 55 additional sponsors. Please see our virtual program book here.

We are pleased to announce, after the lively Fund-A-Need auction led by Cathy MacPherson, we raised over $660,000 at the event.

The Honorable Charlie Baker presented the Art of Healing Annual Award to our deserving honoree Marylou Sudders, former Secretary of Health and Human Services. Marylou spoke of her longtime commitment to CHA and highlighted the need for the important behavioral health programs offered at CHA. Marylou's partnership was instrumental in helping CHA open our new Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit on the CHA Somerville Campus.

Often hearing people’s heartfelt stories helps us understand the complexity of mental health illnesses. The stories are unique and personal, but they all include incredible challenges. If you were unable to attend the event, or want to hear some of the stories shared again, please watch the Mental Health Transformations video.

If you haven't donated yet, please support CHA’s important work today.

  • Move-4-Books

Over $20,000 was raised through the 18th Annual Bike4Books!

Through the generous support of our community and local businesses CHA will continue providing new, age-appropriate books to children at their wellness visits and ensuring families know the importance of reading aloud together.

Many of CHA's 30,000 pediatric patients come from historically marginalized communities and may not be able to afford books without the generosity of the CHA Project Read Child Literacy Program.

Check back in 2024 for more information on ways you can get involved in next year's event.
