Wearing Masks at CHA

In response to a decline in COVID cases and hospitalizations, starting Monday, March 18, CHA will be mask-optional in all patient care areas except the Infusion Centers at the CHA Cambridge and Everett Hospitals. This applies to all patients, visitors, staff, and providers. 

Please note, we will still require patients and staff to wear masks if a patient has symptoms of respiratory illness. 

If you want to keep wearing a mask, that's OK! We will honor and respect the preferences of patients and staff who choose to wear masks. Masks will also continue to be available in patient care areas.
