Arthritis and injury can cause severe pain, making everyday activities and exercise difficult. For some people, a joint replacement is the best solution.

Your Care at its Best

Our skilled surgeons can implant a synthetic joint in place of a worn-out joint. This helps reduce pain and get you back to a more active life. The most common surgeries here are knee and hip replacements.

When you choose CHA joint replacement, you’ll get world-class care in a convenient, community setting. We’re proud of our safety record and have some of the lowest infection and complication rates in the region.

Start to finish care for your joint replacement

We use a proven approach to joint replacement, to help everyone get the best possible results. Before surgery, you’ll meet with our "joint coach”—a registered nurse who helps you with pre-surgery testing and screenings and helps you plan your recovery and follow-up care. At every step, you’ll know what to expect. We’ll communicate with your primary care provider too. We’re committed to giving every patient the support and encouragement they need for a successful recovery.

Expert rehab to help rebuild your strength

One of the most important parts of your joint replacement journey is rehabilitation (rehab). Most patients start rehab in the hospital after surgery and continue it once they go home. During your rehab, you’ll work with our skilled physical therapists (PTs). They’ll help you do gentle exercises that gradually build back your strength and range of motion. Depending on your needs, you may also work with an occupational therapist (OT) to help you rebuild the strength and coordination to do daily tasks.

CHA Joint Replacement surgeons and nurses work closely with the rehab team. They follow your progress and make sure things are going well.
