The 18th annual Bike-4-Books will take place April 14th - 30th, 2023.
Bike4Books benefits Project READ, CHA's childhood literacy program. At every wellness visit, children are given brand new, age-appropriate books, and their families are informed about the importance of reading aloud. Many of our 30,000 children come from families who struggle to provide the basics and may not be able to afford books. All proceeds from Bike4Books are used to purchase books for this program.
This event has morphed into DoAnyActivity4Books to maximize flexibility during the pandemic. You can choose any physical or intellectual activity for people to support such as biking, walking, running, reading, swimming, spinning, baking, gaming, etc. All registrants will receive an event t-shirt and a chance to win prizes.
