Dr. Warren is a graduate of Wesleyan University and University of Pittsburgh Medical School. She completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency at Cambridge Health Alliance. Prior to pursuing a medical career, Dr. Warren worked professionally in non-profit education and as an English teacher. She also pursued additional training in medical acupuncture during her psychiatry residency. Her clinical interests include working with diverse populations, mindfulness-based interventions, and holistic approaches to mental health. Her academic interests include wellness/burnout prevention, mindfulness-informed approaches to patient care, and the mind/body relationship.
Prior to joining the residency training office in 2019, Dr. Warren worked briefly in the outpatient department at Mount Auburn Hospital, and then returned to Cambridge Health Alliance, where she worked in the outpatient department for 8 years, and concurrently in the integrated primary care setting for 5 years. During that time, she was involved in supervising/teaching residents in a number of capacities. Since 2014, she has been involved in various leadership roles at the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion (CMC) at Cambridge Health Alliance since its inception, including leading group-based mindfulness treatments for patients and supporting trainees interested in learning mindfulness
