The next session of the 2018-2019 CHA Global Health and Human Rights seminar will take place on Thursday, February 14th, from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Learning Center C/D (3rd floor), Ambulatory Building, at the Cambridge Hospital, 1493 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA 02139.

Vibha Krishnamurthy will discuss "Children with Disabilities in India: Awareness and Advocacy in a Low Income Country." Dr. Krishnamurthy is a developmental pediatrician and the founder and Executive Director of the Ummeed Child Development Center in Mumbai, which focuses on service delivery, training, advocacy and research on child development and disability. Her current work focuses on the use of innovative technology for training and awareness in low resource settings and supporting self advocacy for children with disabilities and their families in India. Her presentation will be based on this work.
