The first session of the 2018-2019 CHA Global Health and Human Rights seminar will take place on Monday, September 17th from 12-1pm in room 4-B-11 (4th floor) at the Central Street Health Center, 26 Central Street, Somerville, MA 02143.

Dr. Tally Kritzman-Amir will discuss “The Israeli Refugee Crisis in a Comparative Context.” Dr. Kritzman-Amir is a Senior Lecturer on immigration and international law at the College of Law and Business in Israel and currently Israel Institute Visiting Associate Professor of Sociology at Harvard University. Her research focuses on the institutionalization of the Israeli asylum system and its broader implications on refugee protection.
