Dr. Shaughnessy has edited several books and published over 200 research papers in the areas of medical education, continuing medical education, evidence-based medicine, pharmacology, family medicine education, prescription writing, and medical information management. He is assistant editor for American Family Physician and Senior Editor of Essential Evidence Plus. He has received several awards for teaching, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Family Medicine Education Consortium and The Innovative Program Award from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He is a member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society. In 2022 he was awarded The Lynn and Joan Carmichael Recognition Award for outstanding leadership in advancing family medicine as a discipline, the highest award given by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. Emily Feng, MD

Dr. Feng completed her medical education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and her residency training at the University of Minnesota Medical Center Family Medicine Residency, where she was a chief resident.

Nyonbeor A. Boley, MD, MHA, MS

Dr. Boley is an Associate Instructor at the A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine in Monrovia, Liberia. Hailing originally from the United States, Dr. Boley has had an extensive career in medicine and research. Dr. Boley will participate remotely in the Fellowship.

Anna Levit, MD (Integrative Medicine Educator Fellow)

Dr. Levit completed her medical education at Technion American Medical School in Israel and completed her residency training at Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency.

First Year

Catie Donlon, MD

Catie grew up in New Hampshire, went to undergrad at Tufts University, and attended medical school at New York Medical College. She completed her Family Medicine training at the Tufts Family Medicine Residency at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). Catie is thrilled to continue her work at CHA as a Master Teacher Fellow and primary care doctor. Her clinical interests include medical education, comprehensive reproductive healthcare, group visits, and addiction medicine. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, making art, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat.

Efthalia "Lia" Kaynor, MD

Lia grew up in Malden/Melrose and is delighted to continue serving her home community through the Cambridge Health Alliance Master Teacher Fellowship. She studied psychology at Harvard College before attending medical school at Tufts University. She spent many years volunteering as a counselor for an eating disorder hotline and the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. She also served as a clinical research assistant at the Brigham and Women's Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic. Her clinical passions lie in weight-inclusive care, women's health, and care for trauma survivors. During family medicine residency at Tufts/CHA, she also began getting her professional certificate in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University. Outside of the clinic she is a classical pianist, dancer, reader, and poodle-lover.
