Lung Cancer Screening

Safe and effective screening for people who smoke or used to smoke

Don’t let lung cancer sneak up on you.

If you smoke, or used to smoke, getting an annual screening to detect early lung cancer could save your life. Lung cancer is mostly caused by smoking and is the leading cause of death in the US.

Spots on the lungs, called lung nodules, often start growing without any signs or symptoms. Lung nodules are often harmless, but sometimes they are signs of an early lung cancer. When you get a lung screening CT scan, we can find lung cancer at an early more easily treatable stage.

How Does It Work?

Lung cancer screenings are done using a low dose CT (computed tomography) scan once a year. This is quick, easy and safe. Talk to your primary care doctor to find out more or call 617-665-1017.
