Additional Information
I am interested in working with immigrant families, specifically Third Culture Kids. I have a particular interest in integrating various concepts in psychiatry and mental health that come from Western and non-Western schools of thought. My clinical approach has more emphasis on understanding problems first before treating them but I make sure to include various other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or whatever works best for my patients. I also include the option of medication management in my treatments and I like to work with individuals who have difficult to treat presentations that may require more complex treatment and medication approaches.
