Additional Information

I have always liked how obstetrics and gynecology focuses on the full spectrum of women's health. While in medical school the physicians I looked up to the most were those who worked on labor and delivery and calmly handled any situation that came their way. There are many aspects of obstetrics and gynecology I find satisfying, but witnessing this kind of special care drew me in from the start.

Inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care can be exciting, but outpatient well woman care is where I can build lasting relationships. As a physician I am passionate about quality care and patient safety. And, as an obstetrician/gynecologist, I am passionate about the public health issues we face every day in women's health. I am proud to be a part of helping other women.

In addition to practicing medicine, I love to cook, sew, knit and tinker around my house. But above all, I love to spend time doing as much as I can with my two little kids and husband.
