About our Medical Staff Office
The CHA Medical Staff Office supports the physicians, advanced practice professionals, and clinical leaders who provide care throughout the Cambridge Health Alliance system. Our team works behind the scenes to ensure providers meet professional standards, maintain required credentials, and are authorized to deliver care within our organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Credentialing and privileging physicians and advanced practice professionals
- Provider enrollment with health insurance plans
- Supporting Medical Staff leadership, committees, and governance activities
- Maintaining Medical Staff policies, bylaws, and professional standards
- Coordinating provider evaluations and other quality-related processes
- Supporting accreditation, regulatory, and compliance requirements
Through these efforts, the Medical Staff Office helps promote quality, safety, and accountability across the health system.
