CHA Neuropsychiatrist Discusses Brain Health at UN Summit

Zeina Chemali, MD, MPH, CHA's vice chair of education in psychiatry, shared her expertise on brain health at a program titled Brain Days at the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York City, for a UN Resolution on Brain Health. The event brought together policymakers, scientists, innovators, patient advocates, funders, and international organizations to help advance a shared global agenda.

Dr. Chemali participated in a panel discussion titled "From Silos to Synergy: An Intersectoral Approach to the Brain" and a roundtable at the Permanent Mission of New Zealand titled "Fostering Global Collaboration for Brain Health Through Science Diplomacy." It was a tremendous opportunity to represent CHA on the global stage with collaborators working toward a UN resolution for brain health to be ratified in the next few years.
