Cambridge Public Health Department Initiative Featured on Let's Move Blog

A Cambridge Public Health Department initiative to address childhood obesity was featured on First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move blog. Thblog posting highlights the health department’s annual mini-grant competition, in which winning organizations receive $500 awards to develop activities that promote healthy eating and physical activity.

The Cambridge Public Health Department, managed by CHA, oversees a number of healthy weight initiatives, including Let’s Move! Cambridge, the Cambridge Food and Fitness Policy Council, and Cambridge in Motion.


Cambridge Health Alliance is an academic community health system committed to providing high quality care in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s metro-north communities.
