At Cambridge
Health Alliance, we understand that you have high standards for
health care quality. That's why we have we have dedicated extensive
time and resources into improving our health care system.
Over the past
several years we have made major investments in medical information
technology, allowing us to offer safer, more efficient, and more
effective care. We have looked at ourselves critically to improve
our policies and procedures. And we have bolstered our patient safety
efforts, focusing on issues such as infection control, reducing
medical errors, and patient falls.

care consumer, you have access to more quality information than
ever before. Two respected sources of information are the Centers
for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Joint Commission
on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission).
Both CMS and the Joint Commission have user-friendly quality websites
(see links below) and we encourage you to use them to see how we
are doing in comparison to other hospitals in Massachusetts and
across the nation.
