OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRY PROGRAMS
FOR ADULTS
FOR CHILDREN
Ambulatory Services Central Intake provides telephone response
9:00am-5:00pm to any referrals for outpatient evaluation and treatment.
The office is supervised by a dedicated clinician, so that all referrals
are triaged at the point of the initial evaluation appointment.
Non-urgent appointments are generally available within one week
of a request. For any urgent outpatient request, the ambulatory
services staff can prioritize a patient who can be seen within 24
hours for evaluation, crisis stabilization, and medication treatment.
Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation that includes
a careful assessment of the individual’s presenting illness. The
assessment forms the basis of an individualized treatment plan tailored
to the needs of the client. The treatment system has great flexibility
in the clinical resources and treatment modalities that are available
through its comprehensive network within the community. Treatment
modalities include individual, couples, family and group therapy;
psychological and neuropsychological testing and medication evaluation
and management. There are sixteen outpatient programs, located at
eight different sites for both adults and children.

conditions affected the stability in families. We have counselors
