MyCHArt is a secure internet connection to your provider's office. It will let you contact your provider for non-urgent medical matters and review your health information online, 24-hours a day. This can help you better manage your health when you have the time. MyCHArt will let you:

  • View your medical history, including allergies and immunizations
  • View current medications
  • View test results
  • View recent office visits and upcoming appointments
  • Track your child's health
  • Send secure messages to your clinic or provider
  • Request an appointment
  • Request a prescription renewal

Is MyCHArt safe to use?
Yes. We protect your information with 128-bit Secure Socket Layer security.

Can you use it to renew your prescriptions?
Yes, you can use it to request a renewal over the web. But make sure to call your pharmacy first. You may be able to get a refill on your current prescription without contacting us.

Can you use MyCHArt to contact your doctor or nurse?
Yes. You can send us a secure message at any time. This is an easy way to ask routine questions about your health or our services. Messages are usually answered the next business day.

What if I have a medical emergency?
MyCHArt should not be used for urgent medical matters. If you have an urgent medical problem, call 911 or your provider's office right away.

Can I access my child's medical record through MyCHArt?
Yes. If your child is a Cambridge Health Alliance patient, you can sign up for proxy access to MyCHArt. For children under 12, you will have full access to MyCHArt functions. For children 12 and older, you will not be able to see your child's medical records. You will only be able to send secure messages to your child's providers. This standard is required by Massachusetts law.

1 Get a myCHArt access code at your provider's office - or call and ask us to send an access code to your home.
2 Using the letter, log on to the myCHArt site and type in your medical record number, access code, and date of birth.
3 Accept the conditions of the online consent form.
4 Create a log-in I.D., password, and security question.
