NURSES WEEK 2009

Cambridge Health Alliance is proud to have celebrated National Nurses Week 2009. Many special events were held to honor nurses and nursing practice at CHA, including:

- A Round Table discussion with staff nurses entitled
"Preventing Hospital-Acquired Pressure Ulcers."

- The Third Annual Mangeca Fanghaenel, RN, Award for Exceptional Ambulatory Nursing Practice.

- A Pain Management Survival Toolbox workshop presented by nationally renowned pain management expert Carol Curtiss, MSN, RN.

These events were an opportunity to honor all CHA nurses who work on the inpatient units, in the clinics, and in community settings. Click here for a full listing of all Nurses Week events.

Cambridge Health Alliance is also proud to recognize its Nursing Spectrum Excellence Award winner in the Teaching category, Ann Lindsay, RN, CDE.

Other CHA nurses receiving awards and recognition from various organizations included Barbara Bowe, RN, Janet Cline, RN, Elizabeth Dampolo, RN, Christley Harris, CNM, Jennifer Knight, RN, Judith Laguerre, RN, Pat Maher, APRN, Karen McCloud, RN, Denise O'Connor, RN, Lisa Rocker, RN, and Karen Voto, RN.
