On October 30, 2009, Somerville Internal Medicine Associates (IMA) began an expansion project. The services at IMA have temporarily moved to other locations. Later this fall, we will begin construction on a brand new, state-of-the-art primary care site at the Medical Arts Building at the Somerville Hospital campus. We will reopen next Summer with more space and a larger staff that will include providers from Somerville Primary Care. If you are a Somerville IMA patient, see below for more information:

Dr. Brusch’s patients can now see him at Somerville Hospital Medical Specialties. This is on the 6th floor of the South Building. He will be there Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. His new office number is 617-591-4350. Patients should enter the hospital at the main entrance on Tower St. On days Dr. Brusch is not available, patients can get urgent care visits at Somerville Primary Care at 26 Central St., Somerville. Dr. Atkind’s patients can continue to see him at his new office at Somerville Primary Care at 26 Central Street, Somerville. The phone number is 617-591-6300.

Brenda Rogers, our Nurse Practitioner, is returning in December and will also see patients at Somerville Primary Care.
