Senior Vice President, Performance Improvement
Priscilla
Dasse is the Senior Vice President of Performance Improvement at
Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). In this capacity, she has provided
leadership as Chief Quality Officer for such areas as performance
improvement, managed care, patient safety, and quality management
since 2002.
Ms. Dasse recently led CHA's Revenue Cycle improvement strategic
initiatives, which have resulted in significant hospital and physician
revenue increases as well as improved processes throughout the organization.
She also oversaw the effort to move and consolidate various inpatient
services at the Somerville and Cambridge campuses as part of CHA's
service reconfiguration beginning in 2009. Furthermore, Ms. Dasse
has been instrumental in developing the CHA Corporate Balanced Scorecard,
establishing a new Managed Care infrastructure and contracting process,
and expanding and improving the efficiency of CHA's Pharmacy Services.
Prior to joining
CHA, Ms. Dasse was the Senior Vice President of Harvard Medical
Institutions, Inc., where she led the risk management, research,
and insurance functions while developing a new system for identifying
significant health care quality issues. She also served as Associate
Director of Clinical Services at Beth Israel Hospital, establishing
the hospital's first risk management and Infection Control programs
and overseeing departments such as quality, surgery, and obstetrics.
Additionally, Ms. Dasse was a trustee at Deaconess Glover Hospital,
where she chaired the Patient Care Assessment Committee and served
as Vice Chairman of the Board.
A graduate of
Boston College and Boston University, Ms. Dasse began her career
as a nurse, first in the U.S. Navy and then at Boston's Beth Israel
Hospital.
