Senior Vice President, Performance Improvement

Priscilla Dasse is the Senior Vice President of Performance Improvement at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). In this capacity, she has provided leadership as Chief Quality Officer for such areas as performance improvement, managed care, patient safety, and quality management since 2002.

Ms. Dasse recently led CHA's Revenue Cycle improvement strategic initiatives, which have resulted in significant hospital and physician revenue increases as well as improved processes throughout the organization. She also oversaw the effort to move and consolidate various inpatient services at the Somerville and Cambridge campuses as part of CHA's service reconfiguration beginning in 2009. Furthermore, Ms. Dasse has been instrumental in developing the CHA Corporate Balanced Scorecard, establishing a new Managed Care infrastructure and contracting process, and expanding and improving the efficiency of CHA's Pharmacy Services.

Prior to joining CHA, Ms. Dasse was the Senior Vice President of Harvard Medical Institutions, Inc., where she led the risk management, research, and insurance functions while developing a new system for identifying significant health care quality issues. She also served as Associate Director of Clinical Services at Beth Israel Hospital, establishing the hospital's first risk management and Infection Control programs and overseeing departments such as quality, surgery, and obstetrics. Additionally, Ms. Dasse was a trustee at Deaconess Glover Hospital, where she chaired the Patient Care Assessment Committee and served as Vice Chairman of the Board.

A graduate of Boston College and Boston University, Ms. Dasse began her career as a nurse, first in the U.S. Navy and then at Boston's Beth Israel Hospital.
