Christina Severin
President, Network Health

Christina Severin is President of Network Health, where since 2006 she has overseen the health plan's dramatic growth due to Massachusetts' historic health care reform legislation, led the organization's strategic direction, and managed its bottom line.

Specifically, Ms. Severin launched Network Health Forward™ (a Commonwealth Care plan), a new line of business that expanded health care coverage for Massachusetts residents; implemented predictive modeling techniques to reduce medical expenses and better serve Network Health members through targeted health coaching; developed Network Health's social care management program, which is now a Medicaid Managed Care Organization (MMCO) industry standard; and established Network Health Alliance, an innovative program to provide Network Health members who have complex health needs with enhanced care management services, care coordination, and extra clinical support.

Ms. Severin previously served as Network Health's Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and its Director of Quality. Prior to Network Health, she served as Director of Managed Care and Practice Management for Health Services Partnership and as Practice Manager at Codman Square Health Center, both in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and as Director of Community Health Center Services at Boston City Hospital. She was named by the Boston Business Journal to its yearly list of "40 Under 40" business leaders to watch in the Greater Boston region.

Ms. Severin earned a master's in public health with a concentration in health services from Boston University School of Public Health and a bachelor's in political economy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
