Nick W., PT
Nick is a licensed Physical Therapist and Manager of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine for CHA. He completed his training at McGill University in Montreal before relocating to Massachusetts in 2006. He has worked in both acute and sports medicine settings, with focus on orthopedics - serving as Head Physical Therapist for the WPS Boston Breakers, NLL Boston Blazers, and CWHL Boston Blades while at CHA. Nick has trained in advanced manual therapy, sports performance, and soft tissue mobilization, and supports both local academic programs and the development of the dynamic rehab team at CHA. Nick lives in Somerville with his wife Melanie and daughter Hannah.

Alex F., PT, DPT

Alexandra F., PT, DPT
Alex is the clinical team leader for the Assembly Square outpatient site. She graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University in 2013. During her time at Northeastern, Alex had her first cooperative education experience at CHA in Assembly Square. Alex’s clinical interests focus primarily on orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and post-operative care. She has further extended her knowledge base by participating in numerous continuing education classes in advanced manual therapy techniques, Graston Technique®, and SFMA. In her spare time, Alex enjoys trying new restaurants, routing for the Patriots and Bruins, skiing, and running.

Richard A., PTA
Rich Akerberg is a graduate of Bay State College in Boston MA, class of 2000, in which he received his Associates Degree in Applied Science. Rich graduated with honors and was awarded for clinical excellence. Rich has 12 years experience working in Orthopaedic outpatient settings. Rich has been working for Cambridge Health Alliance since 2007. He participated in the establishment and implementation of the group shoulder program at Assembly Square which offers patients an opportunity to rehabilitate their shoulder dysfunction(s) in a group setting with skilled therapists utilizing Medical Exercise Therapy (MET) and manual treatment. Rich enjoys working with patients of all age groups as well as assisting them with their healthcare needs. He is trained in Graston Technique® for soft tissue mobilization. Rich's hobbies include skiing, hiking and exercise.

Katie B., PT, DPT
Katie is a Physical Therapist who graduated in 2016 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in Denver, CO. She enjoys the diversity of patient backgrounds and diagnoses at Assembly Square and loves to tailor the PT approach to each person’s needs and goals. In her past life, she worked for five years as a civil engineer in the Boston area. While she appreciated her time in engineering and worked on some very cool public works projects, she felt something was missing and decided to pursue a career in PT. She is very happy now that she is able to serve people directly and help them work through what has been holding them back. In her spare time Katie enjoys hiking, camping, and just spending time outside in beautiful New England.

Melissa B, PT, DPT
Melissa has her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Northeastern University. She was a prior co-op student at CHA Assembly Square and couldn’t wait to re-join the team as a PT this time around! She has had clinical experience in both acute and outpatient settings and has a special interest in orthopedics and neurological rehabilitation. In her free time, she enjoys running, biking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!

Sibylle B., PT
Sibylle Bosslet is a graduate from the College for Physical Therapy in Neustadt/Weinstrasse, Germany and in Social Work from the University for Social Sciences in Freiburg, Germany. She has been working in Massachusetts as a Physical Therapist for 21 years in rehabilitation and acute care hospitals, private practices and outpatient clinics. She provides compassionate care to people of all backgrounds and abilities using a variety of Manual Therapy approaches including Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral and Neural Manipulation and Lymph Therapy. Sibylle is a General and Prenatal Yoga instructor who can use Yoga therapeutically in combination with Physical Therapy to maximize a person's well-being. She tailors her therapy to meet the needs of every individual to decrease their pain and improve function. Sibylle has extensive experience in women's health working with women throughout the life cycle with a focus on treatment of muscular-skeletal problems during the childbearing years. She is part of the Cambridge Health Alliance Women's Health Team and has taught classes for pregnant (and postpartum) women. She enjoys hiking, biking, reading, all kinds of music and learning about people of different cultures.

Micaela G, PT, DPT

Micaela G, PT, DPT, ATC
Micaela joined CHA in December 2015 as a Physical Therapist at Assembly Square. She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Merrimack College, North Andover, MA and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Simmons College, Boston, MA. For two years, Micaela worked as an Athletic Trainer for Stop it Goaltending, working with athletes ranging from elite high school level through professional level ice hockey goaltenders. While attending Simmons College, Micaela completed a clinical rotation at CHA-Assembly Square, where she fell in love with the CHA family and the high level of care given to the patients. In addition to orthopedics, Micaela has a special interest in Pediatric Physical Therapy. She completed a clinical rotation at The Boston Ability Center where she worked with children with various neurological, developmental and musculoskeletal disorders. In her spare time, Micaela enjoys running, yoga and spending time with her family and friends.

Mara Kasuboski, PT, DPT

Mara K., PT, DPT
Mara graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2011 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Mara is from Michigan City, Indiana and has recently moved to Boston. She has clinical experience in wide variety of areas including acute care, stroke rehab, cardiac conditions, and orthopedics. She has an interest in treatment of spinal conditions, TMJ, and shoulder conditions, as well as other operative and non-operative musculoskeletal conditions. Mara has experience in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) and aquatic therapy. In her spare time, Mara enjoys swimming, outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, biking), and exploring Boston.

Kaitlyn M., PTA, BS
Kaitlyn is a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated with her PTA Associates Degree in 2016 from Bay State College. Kaitlyn also received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013. Kaitlyn’s interest in physical therapy started in 2005 with a sports injury and progressed through the years through working in inpatient and outpatient settings, interning in pediatrics, sports medicine, geriatrics and orthopedics, research and attending conferences. Kaitlyn enjoys working with a wide variety of patient populations including geriatrics, neurological and orthopedics. Kaitlyn enjoys helping with the healing process and getting back patient’s quality of life. Kaitlyn enjoys skiing, being outdoors, cooking and baking.

Sheila O., PTA, BS
Sheila graduated as a PTA from the University of Puerto Rico Technical College in 1995. She decided to continue her education that same year and worked part-time in an Orthopaedic/Sports Injury outpatient clinic. In 1998, she graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor Degree in Heath Administration. She moved to Boston after graduation during the later part of the year. In 1999, she landed a job working in a very busy private outpatient clinic. While at this clinic she treated patients with Orthopaedic injuries along with post surgical conditions. During this time period, she received a certification from the Strength Trainer International Weight Lifting Association. After 9 years of experience and many changes in the private practice, it was time for a change. She decided to go to work for a home care company for 4 years. She provided physical therapy services to an elderly population, diagnosed and treated a wide range of Orthopaedic/Neurological conditions, while visiting patients in an assigned geographical area. Now she has decided to expand her horizons joining the Cambridge Health Alliance team. One thing is certain; she brings an array of diverse knowledge and experiences in this field, coupled with the fact that she is fluent in both the Spanish and English languages. The most beautiful thing about Sheila is that she is compassionate and has a passion for this type of work. Rachel P, PT, DPT

Rachel P, PT, DPT
Rachel graduated from Boston University in 2012 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy after receiving her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Sacred Heart University in 2007. Rachel has experience working with Orthopaedic, Sports Medicine and Neurological populations. Rachel enjoys collaborating with patients and their doctors to establish the best plan of care for each individual patient and their unique needs. Rachel’s also got a natural curiosity, always wanting to learn new things, try different experiences and travel different places. Rachel is an avid Boston Bruins fan, holding season tickets since high school, and is also a big Patriots fan. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with friends, watching sports, making people laugh and golfing on the weekends.

Celia R., PT, DPT
Celia graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University in 2011. She has had clinical experience with a variety of patient populations including acute and sub acute care, with diagnoses including Orthopaedic related injuries, sports injuries, stroke, cardiac, and balance/neurological deficits. Celia has special interest in vestibular rehab and taken an advanced vestibular rehab course at MGH. She has also taken continuing education courses on Graston Technique®, advanced manual therapy techniques of both the spine and extremities from Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy at Boston University, Mulligan Concept, and University of St Augustine. Celia enjoys working with a diverse patient population. She comes from a Portuguese background and is fluent in the language. Celia is a Somerville native and finds it rewarding to be working in her community. In her spare time she enjoys photography, traveling, and baking.

Carol S., PTA, BA
Carol graduated from Bay State College in Boston in 2007, where she received her Associates in Applied Science. Carol also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. Carol incorporates Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release in her treatments as a tool to help alleviate pain. She is also part of the Women’s Health Team, and works with women in all phases of the life cycle to improve body awareness, improve strength, and decrease pain, especially during the child bearing years. Carol has trained in Tai Chi for over 30 years and uses the mind/body approach she learned in Tai Chi when working with patients. Carol encourages patients to listen to their body’s and be full partners in rehabilitation. Carol enjoys working with patients of all age groups and helping those who have been sedentary learn to incorporate exercise into their daily routines.

Linda T., PT, CEAS
Linda graduated from Boston University and has been practicing Physical Therapy at The Cambridge Health Alliance for more than 35 years. Most of her earlier years were spent as the Director of Rehabilitation Services where she was credited with enlarging the PT department and adding Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and the Co-op program to the department’s assets. Linda is currently a senior staff outpatient therapist at Assembly Square and is part of the Joint Replacement Team. She enjoys working with a variety of patients but finds our active, aging population the most rewarding. Linda also serves as the Ergonomic Specialist for CHA and provides ergonomic consultations to outside companies that contract to CHA for their occupational health needs. When she is not at work, Linda enjoys crafting, camping and boating with her family and helping her husband run their sports training facility.

Candace Y., PT, DPT, CSCS
Candace is a Physical Therapist who graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University. She has had clinical experience in multiple orthopedic settings with a variety of patient populations and diagnoses. Candace enjoys working with a diverse patient population and has a special interest in sports related injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. In her spare time, Candace enjoys participating in different fitness classes, spending time with friends and family, attending concerts, and watching sports.

Tracy St. H., PT, MSPT
Tracy is a Massachusetts licensed Physical Therapist. Tracy graduated from The University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science/Athletic Training in 1999. She continued her training at MGH Institute of Health Professions earning her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2001. Tracy joined Cambridge Health Alliance in 2009 initially at our Assembly Square location but has transferred to our location at the Malden Bone & Joint Center. Prior to joining Cambridge Health Alliance, she spent 8 years working in private practice specializing in Orthopaedic and sports related injuries. Her areas of interest include sports related injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. Tracy is also a member of the Cambridge Health Alliance Women’s Health Team.

Jessica M., PT, DPT
Jess joined CHA in June 2016 as a PT at the Malden location. She graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science in 2008 and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2012. Originally from New York, she had 4 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics in Tampa, FL and recently moved back to the Northeast to be closer to family. Jess has experience with Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT), having taken Mckenzie Part A and B. In her spare time, Jess enjoys running, travelling, and routing for New York teams.

Richard M., PT, DPT, HFS
Rich graduated from Springfield College in 2015 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy after attaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Rich’s clinical interests include Orthopedic injuries such as the foot, ankle, low back pain, and shoulder, sports injuries, and post surgical joint replacements. Rich is also a Certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine which he has used in working with a variety of clients from high school athletes to older adults, and is well experienced in the strength training arena. He is from Wellfleet, Cape Cod which he frequents to enjoy the beach and waves. Rich enjoys fitness, sports, hiking, paddle boarding, and playing the drums.

Nancy L. B., PT, MSPT
Nancy is a Massachusetts licensed Physical Therapist with a Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1998. Nancy has over 13 years experience in various PT settings including Acute Care, Rehab, outpatient Orthopaedics, and Aquatic Therapy. She enjoys treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics and specializes in women's health and pain during low risk pregnancies. She is a member of the Cambridge Health Alliance Women’s Health Team. Nancy currently works as a Senior Staff Therapist at the Everett Hospital Campus.

Jillian C., PT, DPT, CSCS
Jillian graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2012 from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell after completing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with a Minor in Nutrition in 2009. She works full time in the outpatient department of Everett Hospital but also spends occasional weekend shifts on the medical floors in acute care. Jillian has a special interest in sports medicine and manual therapy. She recently obtained her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has completed Level I coursework through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. She utilizes Graston Technique® and is certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). She is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds certification in Group Exercise through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Outside of working at CHA she teaches Total Barre™ and trains clients at a local fitness studio and teaches dance at a local dance school. In her free time, Jillian enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as her dog, Henry.

Tracy D., PT
Tracy is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She has over 25 years of experience, with the past 15 years spent in outpatient orthopedics. She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients from adolescents to geriatrics. She has taken many continuing education courses to keep up to date with the most current concepts in Physical Therapy. Tracy works as a Senior Staff Physical Therapist at the Everett Hospital Campus.

Christine H, PTA
Christine is a graduate of North Shore Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program and also holds a BA degree from Northeastern University. She worked at an outpatient physical therapy clinic prior to coming to CHA. She has attended advanced clinical training classes through Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy on manual and medical exercise therapy. Christine is a nationally certified TRX and group exercise instructor and teaches at several different north shore fitness establishments. She is also a former competitive figure skater and continues to teach skating in Revere, East Boston & Lynn for FMC Ice Sports. Christine lives in Swampscott with her husband, two teenage sons and two dogs.
