We require graduates of foreign medical schools to have had six
months of training in an accredited American hospital and to have
passed Steps 1 & 2 of the USMLE. We sponsor only J-1 visas.
A strong command of the English language is a prerequisite.
When considering applications, we do take into account USLME scores

activities since completion of medical school. Applicants with specific
learning disabilities are encouraged to include this information
so that this can be taken into consideration when scores do not
reflect the otherwise outstanding achievements of the applicant.
