Treating difficult infections

Our Infectious Disease doctors are experts in illnesses caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi, and those that are passed from person to person.  We will help make a diagnosis by obtaining a detailed history and doing a physical exam. Sometimes tests such as laboratory work or x-rays will be needed. Some reasons to see an infectious disease doctor are:
