The program participates in the national residency match process conducted by the American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine and has historically interviewed at one of the regional sites of the centralized residency interview process (CRIP). Every year, two residents are chosen for the residency program and candidates are asked to make a firm three-year commitment.
Selection is based on the applicant’s commitment to the practice of podiatric surgery, their interests and life experiences, the strengths of their academic record, and their ability to work collaboratively. Externships at CHA or visitation to our hospital campuses are encouraged prior to the interview process.
