Applications for convened IRB review are due on the 1^st Wednesday of each month. Please see the table below for the current calendar year deadlines. The IRB typically meets on the 4^th Wednesday of each month.

The electronic version of the IRB application must be submitted to Ida Rego by 4:00pm on the deadline date. Please note: There are no exceptions.

The original hard copy of the protocol, including all appendices, and original signature submission forms is due in the IRB office the week following the deadline date. Please send all materials to:

To ensure on-time delivery of the hard copies, we recommend hand-delivering the application to the IRB office. If you need directions, please click here. The application must be signed by the Department Chief or it will not be reviewed.

Minimal risk studies (exempt, expedited) do not have submission deadlines. These studies are reviewed in the order of receipt. Please also submit these studies to Ida Rego electronically and send the hard copy originals to Ida Rego at the above address.
