Ambulatory Half-Days

Internal Medicine Residency Curriculum - Ambulatory Half Days

One half day per week on ambulatory rotations is set aside for protected curriculum time in ambulatory medicine. These half-day seminars are led by our expert teaching faculty and comprise a comprehensive ambulatory curriculum that spans the 36 months of residency training. In these small group learning sessions, residents learn both breadth and depth of major topics in primary care.

  • Infectious Disease

During the ambulatory academic half-day, there are also several seminars that expose our residents to important concepts in professionalism, doctor-patient communication, health care systems, risk management, and pharmaceutical industry relations.
