CHA and BIDMC are working together to expand access to care in local communities in order to offer convenient, high quality services, both in and out of the hospital setting. Our patients will have access to all the care they need - primary care, specialty care, hospital care, behavioral health, and emergency care. To make it easy, CHA and BIDMC have implemented a shared medical record that is available to our health care providers through a secure electronic link. This ability to share information allows providers in both institutions to coordinate care and provide the best treatment for each patient. This means patients can focus on getting well instead of making appointments and repeating tests.
