ROTATIONS
1st Year:
Podiatric Medicine/Surgery 5½ months
Emergency Medicine 3 months (case by case basis)
General /Vascular Surgery 1 month (case by case basis)
Anesthesia ½ month
Medical Imaging ½ month
Internal Medicine 1 month
Physical Therapy ½ month
2nd Year
Podiatric Medicine/Surgery 10 months
Orthopedic Surgery 1 month (case by case basis)
Plastic Surgery 1 month (case by case basis)
3rd Year
Podiatric Medicine/Surgery 12 months
Note: Pathology is an ongoing rotation for all residents every
other month and on a case by case basis. Rotations in infectious
disease, rheumatology and dermatology will hopefully be added in
the future.
In addition to Cambridge Health Alliance, the residents rotate
through several other regional healthcare facilities. These include:
Winchester Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Newton-Wellesley
Hospital, Mount Auburn Hospital, Faulkner Hospital, Emerson Hospital,
Hallmark Health System Hospitals and New England Surgicare.
