TEEN HEALTH

CHA has three local teen health centers:

- Somerville Teen Connection (Somerville High School)
- Teen Health Center (Cambridge Rindge and Latin)
- Everett Teen Health (Everett High School)

We know that when young people reach puberty they have new and specific questions, confusions, and sometimes illnesses.

If you are a teenager, you can come to us for confidential exams, advice, or other health information. As your body changes and grows, you may feel uncomfortable, making it harder, but more important to get medical attention. We understand this and we can help.

If you are a parent and are not sure how to talk to your child, or understand his or her health needs, you can call and ask us.

Our Adolescent Medicine Specialist, Dr. Traci Brooks, is Director of Adolescent Health Services at Cambridge Health Alliance. She oversees the health services at the public high schools in Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and works with primary care pediatricians, school nurses and nurse practitioners to provide the care that teenagers need including medical problems, sports problems, and mental health issues.
