SPINE SURGERY
We are proud to offers lumbar spine care for people
who
suffer from back injuries/osteoporosis provided by William Lipman,
MD, board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized skills
in caring for the spine.
Services include:
- Kyphoplasty
- Microsurgical disc excursions for herniated disks
- Compression laminectomies for spinal stenosis
- Lumbar fusions for spondylolisthesis
About Kyphoplasty
A Minimally invasive technique that repairs compression
fractures of the spine and restores the vertebrae to the correct
position.
- Can be done under local or general anesthesia
- Medicare covered
- Benefits include correction of vertebral deformity,
reduction in pain, improvement in quality of life, and low complication
rates
Dr. Lipman sees patients at the Occupational
Health and Orthopaedics Center at Assembly Square, Somerville
campus and Cambridge campus.
