Cambridge Health Alliance Names New Emergency Department Nurse Managers for Cambridge and Whidden Campuses

Cambridge, Everett, MA...Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) announced today the appointment of two new Emergency Department (ED) nursing leaders. Lisa Rocker, RN, has been named nurse manager for the ED at CHA’s Whidden hospital campus in Everett, while Charlene Scarpa, RN, will serve as the ED nurse manager at CHA’s Cambridge hospital campus.

Lisa Rocker has over fifteen years of nursing experience, including ten years in the Whidden ED, where she held positions as an off-shift supervisor, ED educator, and, most recently, interim ED nurse manager. Ms. Rocker is a graduate of the Fairfield University School of Nursing; she received a master’s degree in healthcare management from Cambridge College.

Charlene Scarpa’s professional background includes over fifteen years of nursing leadership experience, spanning a wide range of clinical areas. She comes to CHA from the North Shore Medical Center, where she served as a nurse leader for the past five years. Ms. Scarpa is a graduate of both Labouré College and Atlantic Union College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing from Salem State College.
