Cambridge Health Alliance Names Mary Samost, MSN, RN, Manager of Nursing Quality Improvement

Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, MA...Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) announced today that Mary Samost, MSN, RN, has been named Manager, Nursing Quality Improvement. She will lead multiple efforts within CHA’s Department of Nursing to measure and improve the quality of patient care, working in close collaboration with CHA’s Department of Quality and Performance Improvement.

Ms. Samost’s professional background includes more than 20 years of experience as a clinician, educator, manager, and advanced practice nurse. She came to CHA in 2003 as a staff nurse in the intensive care unit. She was promoted to Clinical Specialist in Critical Care, where she consistently demonstrated a passion for excellence and commitment to the advancement of nursing practice, qualities which she will bring to her new role as Manager, Nursing Quality Improvement.

Ms. Samost graduated from Boston College and earned her master's degree in nursing from Salem State College. Prior to joining CHA, she worked in case management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
