Cambridge Health Alliance Welcomes Accomplished New Class of Residents to CHA Malden Family Medicine Center
Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, MA...Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) announced today that eight new residents have entered the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency program housed at the CHA Malden Family Medicine Center. The first-year residents join a team of over 30 family medicine doctors, composed of both faculty and residents, who provide primary care services for all ages, from children to seniors, and have special expertise in women’s healthcare, sports medicine, and other health services.
The new residents bring diverse backgrounds and an array of research and clinical interests to their roles at the CHA Malden Family Medicine Center. The residents are: Jessica F. Butts, MD (George Washington University School of Medicine); Catherine S. Celler, MD (Tufts University School of Medicine); Alisha D. Kithcart, MD (Harvard Medical School); Nicholas S. Nguyen, MD (Tufts University School of Medicine); Anne K. Rettig, MD (University of Virginia Medical School); Deborah A. Rin, MD (Tufts University School of Medicine); Meghan L. Tramontozzi, MD (Tufts University School of Medicine); and Marie T. Walsh Condon, MD (Tufts University School of Medicine).

The Tufts University Family Medicine Residency is a nationally recognized program that trains new family medicine physicians. In January 2007, it was one of 14 out of over 400 Family Medicine training programs nationwide selected for the introduction and development of an initiative called P4 (Preparing the Personal Physician for Practice), an innovative approach to training new physicians.
