Cambridge Health Alliance Welcomes Heather Connolly to Joint Hospital Board

Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, MA…Francis H. Duehay, Chair of the Trustees of Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), today announced the appointment of Heather Connolly of Everett to CHA's Joint Hospital Board.

“Ms. Connolly’s business acumen, along with her dedication to civic engagement and public service in the city of Everett, will be a welcome addition to CHA’s Joint Hospital Board, which is responsible for governing our Whidden hospital campus as well as hospital campuses in Cambridge and Somerville and more than 20 primary care practices,” said Duehay, Chair of the Trustees. “She comes to the Board with long-standing roots in Everett and a deep understanding of the needs of its residents.”

Heather Connolly has an extensive background in inventory control and supply chain management. In her current position at Arrow Electronics, a global provider of products, services, and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and computer products, Ms. Connolly develops methods to improve efficiency and capture market share. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Suffolk University. Ms. Connolly is also a member of Everett’s City Services Board, the Everett Emblem Club #32, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

CHA acknowledges Elaine DeRosa (a Cambridge representative) and Fred Foresteire (an Everett representative), both of whom are stepping down from the Joint Hospital Board after years of dedicated service.

Cambridge Health Alliance is a regional healthcare system with three hospitals and more than twenty primary care practices in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston’s metro-north communities. As a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Cambridge Health Alliance offers medical residency/training programs and undergraduate learning experiences in hospital and community settings.
