Cambridge Health Alliance Welcomes New Medical Director of Riverside Health Center, Bari-Sue Brodsky, MD

Cambridge, MA…Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is pleased to welcome Bari-Sue Brodsky, MD, the new medical director of CHA’s Riverside Health Center in Cambridge.

Dr. Brodsky comes to CHA with an extensive background in family medicine, having served as a physician in Somerville, Needham, Medfield, and Natick. She has a strong academic foundation and enjoys appointments at Harvard Medical School, Boston University School of Medicine, and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Brodsky is a systems thinker with a talent for organizing and implementing programs that enhance the patient experience. She has founded patient libraries, instituted open access policies, and offered community lectures in her previous positions, and is committed to serving both culturally and economically diverse populations of all ages in urban settings.

In addition to offering strong leadership qualities, Dr. Brodsky has an extensive background in women’s health, pediatrics, and evidence-based medicine. She is active in patient education and medical student education. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her residency at the Abington Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency program in Jenkintown, PA.

Riverside Health Center is a family medicine practice located at 205 Western Avenue in Cambridge. It offers a wide range of health services for the whole family. Dr. Brodsky is currently accepting new patients and may be reached at (617) 575-5620.

Cambridge Health Alliance is a regional healthcare system with three hospitals and more than twenty primary care practices in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro-North communities. As a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Cambridge Health Alliance offers medical residency/training programs and undergraduate learning experiences in hospital and community settings.
