Cambridge Health Alliance Welcomes New Medical Director of North Cambridge Health Center, William Kinsey, MD, MPT

Cambridge, MA…Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Chief Executive Officer Dennis D. Keefe announced today that William Kinsey, MD, MPT, is the new medical director of North Cambridge Health Center.

Dr. Kinsey comes to CHA with an extensive background in community and family medicine. He most recently served at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, Mass. Dr. Kinsey previously held positions at Mary Immaculate, a nursing home in Lawrence, and the Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center in Harlem, NY, and spent more than two years as a physical therapist and clinic director in Malawi, Africa, during his tenure with the Peace Corps.

After graduating from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Dr. Kinsey completed a family medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Kinsey also has a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health.

North Cambridge Health Center is a family medicine practice located at 266 B Rindge Avenue in Cambridge. It offers a wide range of health services for the whole family. Dr. Kinsey is currently accepting new patients and may be reached at (617) 665-3340.

Cambridge Health Alliance is a regional healthcare system with three hospitals and more than twenty primary care practices in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro-North communities. As a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Cambridge Health Alliance offers medical residency/training programs and undergraduate learning experiences in hospital and community settings. Cambridge Health Alliance also includes the Cambridge Public Health Department, CHA Physicians Organization (CHAPO), and Network Health, a managed Medicaid plan.
