THREE WOMEN FROM CAMBRIDGE HEALTH ALLIANCE EARN PROMOTIONS AT HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL

Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, MA…Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is pleased to announce that three women - Jean Frazier, MD, Elizabeth Gaufberg, MD, MPH, and Cynthia Telingator, MD - have earned academic promotions from Harvard Medical School (HMS).

Jean Frazier, MD, Director of the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Research Program at CHA and Co-Director of CHA's Center for Child and Adolescent Development, has been named Associate Professor of Psychiatry at HMS. Dr. Frazier has made significant contributions to the field of child psychiatry, for which she has won numerous accolades including Distinguished Fellow status from the American Psychiatric Association.

Elizabeth Gaufberg, MD, MPH, both a CHA staff physician and psychiatrist, has been named Assistant Professor of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at HMS. Dr. Gaufberg recently received an HMS Scholars in Medicine award to expand and refine her work on curriculum for teaching professional boundaries using art and literature as reflective triggers.

Cynthia Telingator, MD, Training Director of CHA's Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, has been named Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at HMS. Dr. Telingator has earned national praise for her direction of CHA's residency program in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Cambridge Health Alliance is a regional healthcare system with three hospitals and more than twenty primary care practices in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro-North communities. As a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Cambridge Health Alliance offers medical residency/training programs and undergraduate learning experiences in hospital and community settings. Cambridge Health Alliance also includes the Cambridge Public Health Department, CHA Physicians Organization (CHAPO), and Network Health, a managed Medicaid plan.
