NEWS FROM CAMBRIDGE HEALTH ALLIANCE

FREE WORKSHOPS FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WITH MOOD DISORDERS AT CAMBRIDGE HEALTH ALLIANCE

Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Winthrop, MA…Cambridge Health Alliance's Center for Child and Adolescent Development is offering "Second Monday of the Month", a new, practical series of workshops aimed at parents and caregivers of children and adolescents with mood disorders. The series is free and open to the public.

The series will feature workshops about several child and adolescent development issues such as learning issues and Autism PPD spectrum disorders. Experts from Cambridge Health Alliance and other guest speakers will discuss topics that directly impact families. Workshops will generally run on the second Monday of the month throughout the year.

The first series is called "What does it all mean? - Parenting a moody child (including depression, bipolar and other mood disorders)" and will feature four workshops.

Workshops will run from 4-5pm, at the Center for Child and Adolescent Development, located at 101 Station Landing in Medford, MA 02155. For more information, please contact Mimi Braude, LICSW, at the Center for Child and Adolescent Development at 781-306-8684.
