DESCRIPTION OF AMBULATORY CLINICAL ROTATIONS AND CORE DIDACTICS

2011 Internal Medicine Curriculum > Ambulatory Clinical Rotations

 

  Intern year Junior year Senior year
Continuity clinics 1 Session weekly 2 Sessions weekly
"Wrap up" rounds Weekly readings with case-based discussions
Ambulatory block rotations 2 months 3 months 2 or 4 months (depending on emphasis area)
Ambulatory half-days Four months of core ambulatory didactics
Ambulatory teaching resident     ½ - 1 month
