Additional Information

I am a primary care physician at the CHA Broadway Health Center in Somerville and Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Services for Cambridge Health Alliance.

I chose Pediatrics as specialty because I always felt that I could have a greater and more profound influence on the lives of children than I could on the lives of adults. Additionally, when children are critically ill, they usually have single system disease and recovery is much greater.

I love watching children grow, and I still marvel at the joy children can bring to families. I also look at newborns and continue to wonder what they are thinking.

When I’m not doctoring I totally enjoy teaching, and am heavily engaged in transforming healthcare. Being in a leadership role in our system during this time is an extraordinarily exciting opportunity.

Outside of work I am actively involved in playing music (trumpet) in small combos and big bands. I am also an avid cyclist, skier, and participant in other outdoor activities.
