WAGES AND
COMPENSATION
Compensation
All Interns
and Residents at Cambridge Health Alliance are members of The Cambridge
Hospital House Officers' Association, a legally constituted employees'
union which engages in collective bargaining with Cambridge Health
Alliance. As a result, most administrative aspects with impact on
a Resident's life are part of a union contract and specified quite
clearly, including: wages, holiday pay, vacation (4 weeks per year,
to be arranged and scheduled before the beginning of the year),
educational stipend, night call, maternity leave, sick leave, family
leave, and most other issues.
