COPE - OUR SERVICES
COPE provides expert mental health care for homebound seniors,
65 years and older in Everett, Malden, Medford, and Revere.
The COPE team - a geriatric psychiatrist, nurse, social worker,
and specialized case manager - work with homebound seniors to understand
and address their mental health needs.
COPE services are tailored especially for clients who need
flexible scheduling, extensive outreach, and home visiting. Services
include:
- Mental health assessments
- Counseling and therapy
- Psychopharmacology (medications)
- Case management and linkages to other community services
When a senior is referred to our program, we arrange an initial
home visit. During this first meeting, which may include family
members or other caregivers as appropriate, we perform an assessment
to help us determine the individual's needs. Services will be based
on this assessment and may change over time as needs change.
