Qualifications for the Internship
We require that applicants use the AAPI Online through the APPIC.
Please follow instructions on the APPIC website (www.appic.org).
We no longer require supplementary materials.
How to apply for the Internship
We invite you to apply to become a Psychology Intern by clicking
on the link (above right).
Please note that we do not accept applications via hard copy. The
website will direct through the process of submitting your APPIC
application, additional materials and supporting documentation (including
letters of recommendation) electronically.
Applicants need to state clearly in their cover letter the Track
to which they are applying:
Track I = Adult Oupatient Treatment/Acute Services;
Track II = Adult Outpatient/Child Outpatient;
Track IIIa = Cultural Linguistic Track (indicate Asian or
Latino Team) with Child Outpatient Services. Fluency in Spanish
required for Latino team.
Track IIIb - Cultural Linguistic Track (indicate Asian or
Latino Team) with Adult Acute Services. Fluency in Spanish required
for Latino team.
Interviews will be conducted in mid-December and early January.
We will notify you by December 15 regarding your interview status.
Applicants who interview with us meet with training directors, core
faculty and current interns and also have an opportunity to tour
the campus.
