Our Breast Health Initiative is supported by the Avon Foundation, and we collaborate with the American Cancer Society on advocacy and outreach. We are also designated as a Community Hospital Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

Digital Mammography
photos/Slide2.jpgCHA offers state-of-the-art Digital Mammography at three locations - our Cambridge hospital, Somerville hospital, and Whidden hospital campuses. This new technology allows us to offer next-day appointments for annual screening mammograms!

Comprehensive Diagnostic and Treatment Services
photos/Slide3.jpgWomen with abnormal mammogram results are referred to Cambridge Breast Center, which has offices at our Cambridge and Whidden Hospital campuses. The Breast Center provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, including personalized support for women to help them better understand their health options.

Expert Staff

We consider every breast lump or abnormal mammogram as a medical emergency, and we do everything possible to provide information in a timely manner, and coordinate our services to meet your health needs.
