The CHA IRB typically meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month, or as needed. Applications for convened IRB review are due on the 2nd Wednesday of each month prior to the meeting. Please see the table below for the current calendar year deadlines.
The electronic version of the IRB application must be submitted to the CHAIRBOffice@challiance.org by 2pm on the deadline date. The original hard copies, including all appendices and original signature submission forms, are due in the office within five (5) business days of the electronic submission. The submission will not be processed until the original hard copies are received.

To ensure on-time delivery of the hard copies, it is recommend that the application be hand-delivered to the IRB office. The application must be signed by the Department Chief and the PI, and must be complete, including submission of all conflict of interest forms, or it will not be reviewed.
Minimal risk studies (exempt, expedited) do not have submission deadlines. These studies are reviewed in the order of receipt. Please also submit these studies to the CHAIRBOffice@challiance.org and send the hard copy originals to the IRB office at the above address.
