Lectures are given by renowned geriatric psychiatrists throughout the Harvard system.
Geriatric Psychiatry Departmental Case Conference and Seminar
Fellows have the opportunity to participate in a monthly case conference involving inpatient and outpatient team members of the CHA Geriatric Services, demonstrating a collaborative model in the treatment of older adults in a community setting. In addition to the conference, fellows and Geriatric Service team members participate in a biweekly seminar series emphasizing more advanced and specialized topics in geriatric psychiatry.
Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Lecture Series
This lecture series provides fellows with the opportunity to learn about important medical, psychiatric, and social issues facing older adults, particularly those living in underserved communities. Fellows collaborate with Harvard Geriatric Medicine and Geriatric Dental fellows during monthly case conferences involving the HEARTH program.
Medical Psychiatry Seminar.
These seminars, which are taken in conjunction with CHA Psychiatry Consultation/Liaison fellows and neuropsychology staff and trainees, emphasize the teaching of core psychiatric issues encountered in hospital and primary care settings.
