Ambulatory Morning Report

Ambulatory Morning Report (AMR) is a 45-minute case-based teaching conference that occurs four mornings a week throughout the year for residents on ambulatory rotations. AMR is taught by a second- or third-year resident who is on his/her Ambulatory Teaching Resident (ATR) rotation, and is precepted by one of our expert General Internist faculty. This conference is a highly interactive and innovative teaching session during which the ATR facilitates a group discussion about a patient from his/her own ambulatory practice and leads the group through critical clinical decision-making around diagnosis, treatment or prognosis utilizing the most up to date evidence.
