Posted Date: 5/30/2012
Everett, MA…On Wednesday, June 13th, a special breakfast will be held at the Everett Council on Aging to recognize Cambridge Health Alliance’s Everett Older Adult Health Program for its ten years of service to older adults in Everett and the surrounding communities.

The Everett Older Adult Health Program, operated by CHA in collaboration with the Everett Council on Aging and with support from the Everett Foundation for the Aged, offers a wide variety of community health and wellness programs for adults aged 60 and older. The program provides affordable, easily accessible ways for older adults to learn about and maintain healthier behaviors that can help improve their health and quality of life. Activities and services include tai chi, health screenings, aerobics, healthy eating instruction, and movement with music classes.

The breakfast, which runs from 9 - 11 a.m., is free and open to all older adults. RSVPs are requested – please call Sandra Lisboa at 617-591-6741. The Council on Aging is located at the Edward G. Connolly Center at 90 Chelsea Street in Everett, Mass.
