Cambridge, MA...Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a Harvard-affiliated integrated public healthcare system that serves Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro-north region, announced that its Department of Pediatrics has been named to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care's 2010 Pediatric Honor Roll with Distinction. It is the fourth consecutive year CHA has been named to the Pediatric Honor Roll.
CHA's pediatric department was one of 54 practices honored throughout Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire for consistently exceeding the national 90th percentile performance in five selected preventive and chronic care quality measures.
"This achievement reflects an extraordinary team effort by dedicated clinicians providing exemplary care for a large and diverse population of children," said David Link, MD, CHA's Chief of Pediatrics.
CHA offers pediatrics services at locations in Cambridge, Somerville, Revere, and Everett. More than 25 CHA pediatricians see over 30,000 children each year, and they are accepting new patients.
